Music in all its forms and genres has been a vital element throughout my life.

Until the age of 30, my interest focused on popular music, where the favorites were Simon and Garfunkel and Pink Floyd. From there, my interest in classical music began to intensify and from the age of 40 I began to build my collection that I show here, which currently includes 10,000 records and works by approximately 800 different composers that cover from the medieval era to the actuality.

This collection of classical music is one of the most important and rewarding after-work endeavors I have undertaken in the last 20 years. A collection of this magnitude requires an enormous effort of sorting, selection and organization that takes years of dedication. This collection in turn combines physical discs that represent 47% and discs in digital format that represent the remaining 53%.

The construction of a collection like this involves four fundamental aspects: (1) first of all, being able to enjoy the music that is collected, for which equipment was installed that could connect wirelessly to the digital music library and play it in various places in the city. home; (2) through a systematic search to determine the best works of each of the composers and select the best digital records available on record labels; (3) organize the collection both physically and digitally; and finally (4) read and enjoy the history of music, composers, great conductors, performers, and instruments.
